Dispatch and Delivery
Most orders are dispatched within 7 days from order confirmation.
In exceptional circumstances orders may over run although every effort will be made to complete your order as quickly as possible. Please allow up to 21 days for delivery.
Plant orders are either dispatched by our chosen courier or by our own in house fleet.
Currently we do not offer timed deliveries. If you have placed your order online you will receive an email upon dispatch confirming the day of your delivery. Orders are delivered between 9am – 4.30pm
Our couriers are instructed not to card or return your order to the depot, but instead to leave the items in a safe location on your property. Deliveries will require a signature.
We aim to deliver your order within 21 days of processing the order, however most of our deliveries arrive within 10 working days. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.
Whilst we give customers the option of pre-ordering items we are only able to dispatch these items when they become available. Any unavailable items will be placed on backorder, and as soon as they become available these items will be dispatched to you at no extra cost. Please note if items are unavailable you will be notified on your delivery note.
If a product is listed as ‘Available on backorder’ then this means we do not currently have it in stock. But that it is available to pre-order for when it does become available. Usually this will be the following Spring.
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the condition of the plants after they have been dispatched from the nursery. Sometimes your order may arrived having been damaged during transit. Do not worry, the quality is in the roots. Often all is needed is for the damaged parts to be pulled up/off, and after some time and TLC new shoots should grow and the plant will flourish.
However if you are very unhappy with the condition your plant has arrived in, please contact us via email and we will see what can be done.
We put a lot of care into growing our plants, however, they are living things. It is impossible for us to know how well or how much they will grow. We try to only send them out once they are ready, but a number of things can affect this – such as weather.
If your plant arrives and is only one stem or is very small, this is likely because we have had a particularly difficult winter/spring, or we have recently pulled up the stem to allow for more shoots to grow.
The quality is in the roots. As long as the root system is well-defined, which is something we try our hardest to provide, your plant should be fine.
Returns and Refunds
Please advise us of your error by email within 7 days of delivery and return your order to us in salable condition. For our full returns conditions please visit the returns policy section of this website.
Once your items have been returned to our production nursery in salable condition we will process your refund within 7 working days.
If you would like to add extra items to your recent order please call us on 01525 878924 or contact us as soon as possible. Our sales team will be able to track the progress of your order and as long as it hasn’t left our dispatch department we will be more than happy to take your additional order over the phone. This may delay your original delivery deadline slightly but we will ensure you receive your order as soon as possible.
